Birmingham
Birmingham was once known only for its heavy industrialism and countless examples of concrete architecture, including the infamous Bullring shopping centre as well as the dilapidated Digbeth coach station, but thankfully not any more. Birmingham has firmly re-established itself as England’s second city and has flourished to be a modern, buzzing cosmopolitan centre. With vibrant nightlife, fantastic hotels, great shopping and unique tourist attractions, Birmingham is definitely the heart of England.
